What factors affect my Neck Injury Claim

There are a number of factors that can affect your neck injury compensation claim

  • Your age at the time of the accident. Younger people with longer to live typically receive larger compensation awards for injuries sustained to their neck
  • The severity of the  neck injury. Minor cuts and bruises to the neck will receive lower compensation amounts compared with broken bones or whiplash
  • The length of time taken to recover from the accident. Necks do not heal quickly and are not designed for whiplash
  •  Personal Injuries that resolve themselves within weeks will receive less compensation than those that take several years  or those that  leave the victim with permanent symptoms.
  • Whether the neck injury caused a level of disability or severe lack of mobility. Some personal injuries can result in  a permanent level of disability
