What factors affect my hand Injury Claim
- Your age at the time of the accident. Younger people with longer to live typically receive larger compensation awards for injuries sustained to the hand
- The severity of the injury. Minor cuts and bruises to the arm will receive lower compensation amounts compared with broken bones or severe dislocation
- The length of time taken to recover from the accident. Hands heel quicker than backs. Personal Injuries that resolve themselves within weeks will receive less compensation than those that take several years or those that leave the victim with permanent symptoms.
- Whether the injury caused a level of disability or severe lack of mobility. Some personal injuries can result in a permanent level of disability
